Located along Zhongshan Road in Dalian, a major boulevard connecting the famous Dalian port on the east with Asia’s largest municipal square, Xinghai Square, on the west, the Dalian AVIC International Square covers four city blocks on a five-hectare site. The 352,000-square-meter mixed-use program comprises four residential towers each on two blocks, a high-rise office and apartment tower on the third block, and a mid-rise apartment building and a mid-rise office building on the fourth block. Our client intends to establish a new hub of pedestrian activity for the Zhongshan financial district: our building’s lower floors will provide storefronts and a civic-scaled plaza will address a government building across the boulevard.
